Basketball’s most famous team the Harlem Globetrotters will show off their magical skills in
For many non-basketball fans the talent involved in seven-foot tall men putting a ball through a hoop ten feet off the ground is not immediately apparent.
But it’s fair to say that even people completely blind to attraction of the sport can be captivated by the hijinks of the Globetrotters.
The team – which performs rather than plays – combines unorthodox plays with comedy routines they have gradually worked into their show over the years.
They have chalked up thousands of victories – usually against a stooge team – touring the world since they were founded in the 1920s.
The Harlem Globetrotters will perform at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna on 28 February at 8pm.
Tickets cost HUF 2,900 to 8,500 and are available from the ticket office at Ifjúság útja
