A high-level delegation of Budapest’s Eotvos Lorand University
(ELTE) has paid a three-day visit in Singapore at the invitation of
the National University of Singapore (NUS). The delegation led by
rector Ferenc Hudecz also visited Singapore’s second largest
university, the Nanyang Technical University. The two universities
signed a cooperation agreement in January and projects are expected
to start in the near future.
The Hungarian delegation was also received by president of
Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (ASTAR) Lim
Chuan Poh.
A cooperation agreement between ELTE and NUS was signed in
Budapest last October during Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s visit
to Hungary.
