Szucs was addressing a traffic conference, where he said that it
was necessary to reduce the rate at which the number of cars was
increasing, to reduce the pollution generated by vehicles and to
improve the environmental infrastructure. He added that it was also
necessary to encourage freight deliveries by rail and ship as
opposed to road traffic.
Szucs said that by 2015 a network of inter-modal logistic
centres would be completed to ensure a higher ratio of
environment-friendly freight forwarding.
