VDSZSZ, the largest union of national railways MAV, is in talks
with its management on wage rise demands and a one-off payment of
250,000 forints for each employee from revenues from the
privatisation of MAV’s freight unit.
VDSZSZ started a strike at the beginning of February, but
suspended it shortly after.
Gasko said a strike call for a future date is still valid, if
negotiations on demands fail.
