Soros, who is honorary president of the board at Budapest’s
Central European University, venue of the conference, called for
shaping a business environment in which individual interests are
unable to supersede community ones. His own investments, he said,
consider both. While his projects have to be profitable, he said, he
also insists that they reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
