The turnover of Hungarian pharmacies declined 10 per cent in January, which causes the biggest problems for smaller units in rural areas, pharmaceutical interest organisation HGYSZ president Karolina Korodi said this week. Business daily Napi Gazdaság said 92 pharmacies closed down over the course of 2011, a significant increase compared to the 60 closures in 2010.
