The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) does not find Hungary’s new election system problematic and it proposes sending only a very limited observer mission to the election on 6 April, the Centre for Fundamental Rights said. It is important that the new election rules already contain prescriptions made by international observers, guaranteeing the participation of observers throughout the voting process, the centre said. The OSCE has various types of observer mission that it can launch, and it has opted for the most limited one, the statement added.
