Prices drop for third month running

Hungary’s inflation rate fell 0.3% in the 12 months to June, the Central Statistical Office said this week. Consumer prices fell for the third month in a row. They dropped 0.1% both in April and May. In a month-on-month comparison, consumer prices rose 0.1% after dropping 0.2% in May. Estimates of London-based analysts for the June 12-month inflation varied between minus 0.2% and plus 0.1%.
