It is hard to know what to expect when walking into a vegan restaurant, especially if you have hardly ever been to one. What will the food be like? Will I understand the menu? How will it all taste? But there is no need to worry about anything when you visit Napfényes Étterem right by District V`s Ferenciek Tere.
They have a big comprehensive menu, written both in Hungarian and English, with a lot to choose from. The atmosphere is bright, vibrant and clean. And the waiters are very nice and helpful.
Having been to a few vegan restaurants around Budapest I must say this one ranks high in my books. Everything on the menu feels natural and healthy and they even have a cookie counter in the front if you feel like something sweet after your meal.
Napfényes Étterem is fairly new on Ferenciek Tere but has already got a pretty steady clientele. If you’re going there on rush hour it is probably best to book a table.
As it is, if you’re waiting for something good, you don’t mind the wait. This is the case here. When it is busy it can take a while to get your food but it’s well worth it.
