Tribute bands plug a gap for fans lamenting that their favourite rock group has gone the way of the dodo. In the case of rock legends Pink Floyd there seems nil chance that they will ever play live again, so Brit Floyd – The World’s Greatest Pink Floyd Show may just be the best thing you have instead.
Following last year’s Discovery World Tour, Brit Floyd is back with its Space & Time World Tour, their most ambitious show yet full of spectacle and an even bigger stage production. The tour hits Budapest Aréna on November 8.
Celebrating five decades of Pink Floyd from their creation in 1965 right through to the release of the latest “The Endless River” album, Space & Time includes performances from all Pink Floyd’s biggest selling albums, including “The Dark Side of the Moon”, “Wish You Were Here”, “Animals” and “The Wall”, plus a host of other Floyd musical surprises.
Brit Floyd lead vocalist, guitarist and musical director Damian Darlington said: “The audience reaction has been phenomenal; absolutely amazing everywhere. Thank you to everyone who came to see the show. We can’t wait to get out on the road again in 2015.”
Paying attention to every musical detail and faithfully recreating the “true” live Pink Floyd concert experience, Brit Floyd say they will take you on a musical journey featuring the best moments from the classic Pink Floyd back catalogue. They claim to combine the latest state-of-the-art sound and light technology for a performance that is sonically perfect and visually awesome.
The band says is has sold over a million tickets worldwide, though the theatrical layout of the latest show means there are only seated tickets available and in limited numbers: on sale via www.livenation.hu and www.ticketpro.hu
