Magyar Telekom has announced the launch of broadband hotspots in partnership with carrier Wi-Fi solution provider Fon. The service will comprise more than 100,000 hotpots in almost 2000 communities created with devices attached to internet subscribers’ landlines. The service will be free for landline internet subscribers and some mobile subscribers. Magyar Telekom subscribers with data roaming plans may also avail of Fon’s service in 20 more countries around the world.
