Balaton Sound describes itself as a non-stop summer beach party. This year’s five-day festival at Zamárdi, Lake Balaton, is the tenth and it promises the most prestigious names of the electronic and hip hop scene.
Chris Brown, DVBBS, The Chainsmokers, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Duke Dumont, Lost Frequencies, Bassjackers, Andhim and Wiley are among dozens who will appear from July 6-10.
The so-called Day 0, July 6, will feature Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on the Main Stage, Oliver Heldens in the Telekom Arena and Chocolate Puma and Milk & Sugar at the Jager Arena. Also on the program are Stadium X and Peter Kruder.
Besides these three biggest stages, this year the Bass Stage will host more than 40 acts such as Mefjus, Die, Murdock, Black Sun Empire, The Upbeats, Nickbee, Dismantle and Lady Waks.
The energy is guaranteed and the music will be powered from 5pm until morning. Several venues will be built on the lake itself, to enjoy names such as Guy Mantzur, Watermat and H.O.S.H.
Outside the festival area but still in the atmosphere are the Balaton Sound boat parties on the lake each day. Music will be brought to the boat by DJs, with Agoria and Rodriguez Jr. Live on July 6, Andhim on July 7, Adriatique on July 8, H.O.S.H on July 9 and Peter Kruder on July 10.
