Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met Yoshinobu Abe, the new CEO of Magyar Suzuki, on Monday. Orbán’s press officer said the sides reviewed the company’s market position and its role in Hungary’s economy. The government had reiterated its commitment to assess infrastructure developments in the Esztergom region with Suzuki’s interests in mind. Abe was appointed this month to replace Naoyuki Takeuchi, who has been promoted in the parent company.
