Patricius Winery has been named the 2016 “Cellar of the Year” at a ceremony in Bodrogkisfalu. The title acknowledges the work of vintners who raise the profile of Hungarian wine on domestic and foreign markets. The winery was established by the Kékessy family in the Tokaj winegrowing region in the 17th century. It grows grapes in seven vineyards over a total 85 hectares. Patricius had net revenue of HUF 319 million in 2015.
